Refund policy

Refunds, in plain words.

This page is separate from the Terms of Service and from any legal cancellation right you have. Nothing here replaces what your local consumer law gives you.

Your statutory rights

You have statutory consumer rights under the law of your country. Those rights sit above this policy and above the Terms of Service. If any sentence on this page could be read as taking them away, your statutory rights win.

If you are in the United Kingdom, your 14-day cancellation window under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (the "CCRs") applies to online services. This includes our custom sourcing service. You can step back from a contract you enter online for 14 days after you sign, in writing, unless you have expressly asked us to begin work inside that window.

If you are in Australia, the Australian Consumer Law gives you statutory guarantees on services that cannot be taken away by a contract. This policy does not attempt to do that.

If you are elsewhere, your local consumer law does. When in doubt, ask a local adviser.

Our contract refund policy

Once a request moves past a quote and you have approved it, we begin sourcing on your behalf. Between approval and delivery, refunds are handled in three stages:

  1. 1. Proportional billing

If you withdraw before we buy the item from the supplier, we refund the money we have not yet spent and only charge for time actually spent sourcing. You are billed only for the work we actually did — there is no minimum fee.

  2. 2. Express request, express record

If you ticked the "start sourcing now" box on the request form, we recorded the exact time you gave that confirmation. That record is what stands between us if a later question of cancellation arises.

  3. 3. Confirmation of lost cancellation right

If you asked us to begin sourcing inside the 14-day cancellation window, that confirmation means you knowingly gave up the remaining days. It does not remove rights you have outside that window (for example, refunds tied to a faulty delivery).

Common cases

I changed my mind before you bought the item.
We refund any money we have not yet spent. Work actually done is billed proportionally, at the flat sourcing rate.
The item arrived damaged or different from what you photographed.
Send us the photos within 7 days of delivery. We will refund the item cost, arrange a supplier claim, and refund any service fee tied to the failed order.
I refused customs duties, so the carrier returned the parcel.
Because duties belong to the carrier relationship, and we did not collect them, we do not refund the item cost or the international freight in this case. Domestic handling fees and inspection effort are billed proportionally.
You couldn't find the item.
No fee for the initial screening. If a live link went dead, we tell you before switching paths — a dead link becomes a sourcing job, which carries the higher sourcing rate, so you decide first. Only genuinely complex or custom requests move to a case-by-case quote, and we confirm with you before charging anything.
I paid for the wrong size or colour.
If we can source a replacement before shipping, we do. If we can't, the service fee is charged proportionally for the work completed.

Refunds return through the same payment rail as the payment. If you paid via PayPal, the refund returns to your PayPal account. Timeline depends on PayPal, not on us.
